CNC turning is a subtractive machining process that uses a cutting tool to remove material for creating cylindrical parts with different sizes. bars of material are held in a chuck and rotated while a tool is fed to the piece to remove material to create the desired shape. A turret with tooling attached is programmed to move to the bar of raw material and remove material to create the programmed result.
Kaierwo have high-precision CNC Turning machine and excellent engineers with 14 years of experience CNC turning for parts manufacturing, we are proud of the high quality of the CNC turning parts we produce. Experienced quality personnel ensures that customer requirements are met or exceeded at all stages of production in custom industrial processing.
Our CNC turning section is equipped with the latest machines, tooling, and CAD-CAM. This allows us to offer an efficient, cost effective and flexible service. CNC turning offers numerous advantages over traditional manual fabrication methods, including:
1. Quick Turnaround
CNC turning equipment is pre-programmed and allows the equipment to move more quickly than manual machining.
2. Superior precision
Pre-programmed specifications ensure greater precision and reliability.
Variable production sizes. Faster CNC turning allows for mass production with high repeatability. We have been equipped with a high-precision tester, which can also ensure the accuracy of the standard of the parts.
3. Material versatility
CNC turning can be used on a broad range of materials.
4. Enhanced worker safety
CNC turning requires less direct human interaction, thereby reducing risk of injury to workers.
5. Cost-effectiveness
Enhanced speed and reduced labor costs can make CNC turning very affordable in comparison with other manufacturing methods.
We supply precision CNC turning services, ability to meet precision tolerances as light as ±0.005mm (±0.0002 inch)
While any strong and stable material can be turned, we use hard plastics and metals. Please note that some tool steels may be too hard to cut on a lathe or milling machine, or they will require special handling and longer production times. Soft elastomers or some soft plastics also cannot be produced using CNC turning as they cannot be held in a fixed position or will deform under the pressure of the cutting tool!
CNC turning metals
Aluminum CNC machining is a key part of Kaierwo’s services, but CNC turning can also be used to process metals like magnesium, steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, bronze, titanium and nickel alloy.
Want to know what other processes these metals can be used for? Like CNC machining, CNC milling, 3D printing ...... Click here to find out!
CNC turning plastics
CNC turning usually uses plastic materials such as ABS, nylon, PMMA, PEEK, etc. Kaierwo CNC turning process supports more than 30 kinds of plastic materials
Our basic guidelines for CNC turning include important design considerations to help improve part manufacturability, enhance cosmetic appearance, and reduce overall production time.

CNC turning is often used for
Functional prototypes and end-use parts
Parts with cylindrical features
Parts with axial and radial holes, flats, grooves, and slots
Surface Finish Options for Turned Parts
Parts that are turned typically have a very smooth surface finish. The as-machined surface finish of the cylindrical areas will typically be much smoother using the lathe than the mill, so consider this when selecting the machining method for those parts that qualify for either method. Areas cut with live tooling, such as flats and slots, may have visible tools marks.
Not only can provide high-quality parts machining, but Kaierwo can also finish excellent surface finish, including: as machined, smooth, painting, anodize, bead blasting, oxidation, polishing, powder coating, plating, knurling , brushing, passivation etc.
FAQ
1.What Kind of services a CNC Machining offers?
A CNC machining process can offer a wide range of services including threading, turning, milling. drilling, prototyping tapping, part design, and reverse engineering, parts dispatching, and limited material warehousing.
2.What is the Role of CNC Machinists?
CNC Machinists work with heavy machinery of CNC Prototype almost durin al operations from inial setup to operation and production of differentparts and tools from plastic, metal, and other materials. The finalstep incudes drlling grinding. and cutting of the material based on the instructionsguided by CNC Machinist.
3.What is Meant by the 5 axes on a CNC Machine?
The term axis represents the direction of movement of the cutting tool. n a 5-axis machine, thedrlling or cutting tool rotates on Aand B while moveson X, Y and, Z linear axes and approach the work-piece in any direction.
4.Can KAIERWO make design drawings for me?
We don't provide design services. You are responsible for submitting 2D and 3D CAD drawings, and we can then provide a Design for Mant facturing review upon receiving your order.
5.How do l know my design will be kept confidential?
We of coursewil sign and adhere to any non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement. We also have a strict policy within our factory that no photographs are ever lwed of a customers product without express permission. Ultimately we rely on our reputation of working with hundreds ofthousands of unique designs over many years and never allowing any proprietary information to be disclosed to a third party.
